The Studio

We don't print art. We make it — layer by layer, glaze by glaze, patina by patina.

Artevano works stand at the meeting point of painting, tilework and the open road. Each piece begins as ceramic tile, cut and engraved entirely by hand, then brought to life in hand-made layers of pigment — a rust-effect patina or a warm brass-tone glaze — before it is set into a quality frame — the same weathered tones the desert highway leaves on chrome and steel. Both the tile and the paint are naturally waterproof. Nothing is mass-produced. Nothing is duplicated on a machine.

The Collection

Signature Editions

Hand-made emblems and reliefs — each one a unique original, no two patinas ever quite the same.

No Two Alike

Every surface is shaped by hand — its patina, its grain, its light are unrepeatable.

The Journey

From Raw Material to Relic

Four stages, entirely by hand, before a piece is ever ready to leave the workshop.

01

Material & Engraving

We begin with hand-selected ceramic tile, chosen for the way each surface will carry texture and light — and for being naturally waterproof. The design is then cut and engraved directly into the raw tile, letter by letter, by hand.

Hand-Made Patina

Depending on the edition, the engraved tile is either hand-made with a warm brass-tone glaze, layer by delicate layer, or built up in a hand-made rust patina finish — using waterproof paint, so no sealant is ever needed.

Hand Finishing

Every relief is worked by hand until the texture, tone and depth meet the studio's standard — burnished and inspected under raking light to catch every ridge the engraving has left behind.

Framing & Certification

The finished piece is set into a quality frame, photographed, numbered and paired with its own Certificate of Authenticity before it ever leaves the workshop.

Materials

01

Hand-Mixed Pigments

Blended in small batches, in tones no factory finish can match.

02

Ceramic Tile

Hand-selected for grain and density, naturally waterproof, engraved directly into the raw face.

03

Hand-Made Patina

Painted layer by layer in an old faux-finishing tradition — never printed, never sprayed.

04

Quality Frame

Each frame is built and finished in the studio to match the piece it holds.

Artevano finishes are hand-made pigment glazes designed to evoke the look of aged metal and brass on ceramic tile. They are decorative paintwork — not forged, not sculpted, and not gold-plated. Both the tile and the paint are naturally waterproof — no sealant needed — so every piece is safe for bathrooms and showers, and since each is hand-made, no two pieces are ever quite alike.
